Projected Use of Renewable Groundwater

Most countries in the Nile Basin are currently using a very small percentage of their available renewable groundwater reserves. The Kagera aquifer countries of Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda and Tanzania are currently using between 1-25% of their renewable groundwater per year.
