The UK death toll is steadily rising
The first death in Scotland was confirmed by the Chief Medical Officer on the 13th of March. The graph below shows the cumulative number of deaths in Scotland and the rest of the UK.
The number surged on April 29 as the UK government began adding non hospital deaths to the daily figure.
